STK Redwood tapes will be moved to IBM 3590Es as support will stop (end
2002) negotiating now as as our contract requires support for 10 years

Users no more buy tapes, they only pay for the total management by the
data centre.

fatmen will be eventually replaced by Castor for some of its bookkeeping
functions but some of the meta data functions would have to be provided
by higher level software.
