- Near the end of a migration (W2K, WXP) bring instructors
of commercial outfit to teach <12 persons' user groups, just in time
for immediate usage. (SLAC)
- Prophesy 90% occupancy of the Windows' storage solution
market by SAN. (SLAC)
- Situation not always much simpler in other labs, e.g.
CEA now has 7K PCs of many and continuously changing brands, 40 different
NT domains.
- NIKHEF supports Netscape 6 as well for the W2K PCs.
- Saclay *think* of using VMWare.
- Alberto announced the end of NICE95/NT support by the helpdesk by mid 2002.
- He also announced the plans for a new Email infrastructure based on Exchange.
