For example with Di we were trying to understand which client version (?? on the web page for the UI there is a "*" ?? for the version) and also about the server ?? On the web page you mention just the EDG links but not explicitly the version? So? We are asking this because we observed strange results and before reporting something due to old bugs we would like to check the version we installed. So could you please mention explicitly all the rpms (client and server) that you are using? By the way today there was a migration for the savannah services so I was not able to start to setup the cvs permission for you Vincenzo to commit VOMS code. I hope tomorrow morning this will be possible. So? No, tose links are wrong and should be deleted. However, if you scroll down to section 10, you will find the new location for the sources. The docs do not state a version number because it has not been tagged yet. At the moment, it is 'HEAD' of the indicated CVS server. When all the tests end and we are confident that the problems have been solved, I will tag a new version. At that time, that version will be indicated in the docs. > We are asking this because we observed strange results and before > reporting something due to old bugs we would like to check the version we > installed. You are right, it is a bit confused. The RPM version I used is 1.2.13 (it is reported in the introduction of document, sorry, not the best place). I built the rpm directly from the sources. More in general: use the latest. This was the latest when I started, then I found some limitations/suggestions and Vincenzo fixed them. So Vincenzo already have in CVS something better than 1.2.13 but I do not know if it is already "tagged" 1.2.14. Vincenzo, could you clarify this point? The links : [...] 2.2.1 Installation Sources: http://datagrid.in2p3.fr/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/Auth/voms-httpd/ Packages: http://datagrid.in2p3.fr/distribution/autobuild/i386-rh7.3-gcc3.2.2/wp6/RPMS/ [...] are about *voms-httpd*, an indipendent tool (it is not part of VOMS server/client/api). This module is supported by Fabio Spataro . Contact him in case of need. So at the moment for voms-httpd the EDG repository is right, while for VOMS it is wrong. Best regards, --- Enrico Ferro Ist. Unfortunately, it is not enough. Those modules are the admin interface and the common configuration. I also need access to the modules containing the core services. Those may be found in Auth/voms*, although since the internal directory structure changed, initial porting may be simpler if you just create to new modules at the main level, voms and voms-httpd.
